Save This Korean Booking Card Before You Need It

The most useful travel note is often the one you prepare while nobody is waiting for your answer. Here is an original booking clarification card for non-medical services in Korea.

The goal is not to sound impressively fluent. It is to distinguish the service you want, the price you have been quoted and the booking the business has actually confirmed. You can show the Korean sentence and its English meaning together.

1. Confirm the whole service

“이 금액에 어떤 서비스가 포함되어 있나요?”
“What services are included in this price?”

Fill in the exact service rather than sending a vague photograph and assuming all its details are included. Ask separately about any option you want. This question does not imply that the business has hidden charges; it makes the scope clear.

2. Confirm the unit of the quote

“이 금액은 두 명 합계인가요, 한 명 기준인가요?”
“Is this the total for two people, or the price per person?”

Change the number to match your party. A number with no unit is not quite a budget yet. It is a small mystery wearing a currency symbol.

3. Confirm the status

“예약이 확정된 건가요, 아직 확인 중인가요?”
“Is the booking confirmed, or is it still being checked?”

Save the merchant’s actual confirmation, date, Korea time and branch. A sent request or draft itinerary is not proof that the business accepted it.

4. Confirm changes before payment

“변경이나 취소 조건을 알려주실 수 있나요?”
“Could you explain the change and cancellation conditions?”

If a condition remains unclear, ask again in a language you understand. Use the merchant’s official booking/payment channel. Do not send payment information to an unrelated account merely because a message looks helpful.

These are polite Korean examples. They are a communication aid, not a guarantee of availability, acceptance or refund rights. Keep only the information the service needs; a public travel checklist does not need your passport or card details.

Copy the card before your next appointment. The future version of you standing outside the wrong branch will appreciate the exact address far more than another motivational travel quote.

A sign says a café closes at nine. You arrive before nine and discover that the order you wanted is no longer available. The closing time answered one question; you needed to ask another. Here are three Korean time labels to keep separate. This is a language guide with invented examples, not a statement of any particular café’s current hours. 영업시간: business hours 영업시간 labels the business’s operating hours. An example sign might say “영업시간 10:00–21:00.” That tells you the displayed operating window, but it does not by itself describe every service offered within it.
